Olio e Basilico is a boutique mountain retreat located in the heart of Ajloun, where the richness of nature, culture, and architecture come together in one seamless experience. The project reimagines traditional northern Jordanian hospitality through a modern Mediterranean lens, blending the warmth of local stone, the scent of olive trees, and the calm rhythm of the surrounding hills. Between naturally sculpted Ajloun rocks, water cascades gently into a tranquil stream, creating a calming sensory experience. The design draws inspiration from the region’s mountain springs, refreshing, and deeply rooted in the land. This peaceful corner reflects the essence of Olio e Basilico: simplicity, nature, and an atmosphere that nourishes both body and soul.”
